The team finally made it onto the water together in August 2024. They retrieved Pamela, now adorned with several temporary stickers, from the farm and took her to Marlow where she was lowered into the Thames. Penny, photographer at World’s Toughest Row and Emma, of creative agency Paper Stone Scissors were both there to capture our fledgling efforts.
As it turned out, the team rowed pretty well together in the admittedly benign conditions. They also spent their first night on the boat together with no dramatic fallings out, so it was a good start all round.
